During the official launch week of DeliveryApp, we recently attended the Commercial Vehicle Show at the Birmingham NEC, which was jam-packed with exhibitors and businesses looking to reshape and benefit from future advancements in the logistics industry.
As an exhibitor ourselves, our stand was manned by core members of the DeliveryApp team Co-founder and Chief Digital Officer, Justin Blackhurst, Sales Director, Justin Humphreys, and Territory Manager for West Midlands, Laura Orchard.
Whilst at the event, our team met lots of SMEs from the packaging, auto parts, and transport sector where we introduced the DeliveryApp platform as a method of streamline their monthly business deliveries and reducing outgoing costs. By providing an agile same day delivery solution, which connects their business to self-employed courier drivers, DeliveryApp can help to improve profitability and accelerate business growth.
There was a plethora of different businesses exhibiting at the Commercial Vehicle Show from all areas of the country, including the likes of Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), Ford of Britain, Jaguar Land Rover, Toyota, and Vauxhall among many others.
With some of the biggest names in the automotive industry present, one of the highlights of the show were the announcement of some incredibly innovative vehicles and technologies, such as the Ford E-Transit van. As their first all-electric van, this vehicle has been “purpose-built to help businesses meet their sustainability targets, without compromising on toughness, capability, or versatility”. With a 400-volt battery, the E-Transit battery offers up to a substantial 196 miles from a single charge with options for customisation that can fit the specific needs of a business.
Another forward-thinking automotive company present were commercial electrical vehicle manufacturer, LEVC, who are focused on providing sustainable transport solutions that eliminate the need for fossil fuels and reduce harmful emissions.
To promote the official launch week of DeliveryApp, we were delighted to have been recently featured within some influential industry and business publications, such as Logistics Manager, The Business Desk, and Prolific North. Following our recent multi million pound investment which has fuelled such expansive growth, we have evolved to become one of the UK’s fastest-growing driver networks that offers our customers a modernised process of booking and scheduling deliveries of all kinds.
Being included in such well-known publications is truly a testament to our hard-working team that relentlessly strive to make DeliveryApp as flexible and intuitive as possible, so our clients can navigate away from restrictive and outdated traditional logistics companies.
