Carbon positive deliveries
Simple & cost-effective
As the latest addition to our ever-growing team, Joanna Pearson joins us to take up the role of Operations Director and will take the lead on expanding our driver network with her wealth of experience in the logistics industry.
Originally from the North East, Joanna ran 3 successful businesses for over 15 years which served as her introduction into logistics. Following this, Joanna moved to the North West 6 years ago, gaining further experience in logistics as well as within sales, sales management and operations. During this time, Joanna managed an array of key accounts that included several national and international blue-chip companies.
Having worked in overnight parcel and pallet and within National Sameday companies, Joanna moved to set up her own firm, TLC Logistics, operating as Co-founder and Managing Director before joining DeliveryApp full-time. Joanna’s entrepreneurial flair coupled with her extensive knowledge of the logistics industry comes as a welcome addition to the team in fuelling our rapid growth and plans for scalability.
Commenting on starting this exciting new role, Joanna said:
“I’m incredibly excited to join the DeliveryApp team and to be involved with a company that has such great aspirations for changing the industry. As someone that has been in the logistics industry for a number of years, I’ve witnessed first-hand many of the pain points that traditional courier firms face on a daily basis. It’s clear that the intention of DeliveryApp seeks to overcome these challenges by providing a far more agile and flexible solution to on-demand deliveries and last-mile logistics.”
“As part of my role, I aim to assist in expanding our driver network and ensuring our internal operations are as slick as possible to provide a seamless service for our customers. From my first day it was clear that the team and culture thrives on the ambition to develop an innovative solution that connects businesses and self-employed drivers to fulfil their daily logistical needs. I’m very much looking forward to the future of DeliveryApp and can’t wait to get going.”
