The Role

Are you a professional, adaptable, and energetic individual with a passion for event management?

The company’s goals for this role are to develop relationships with self employed owner van drivers across the UK via a national roadshow of events. Looking for an organised events coordinator with a passion for user experience, customer service and attention to detail.

 

Responsible for

  • Booking rooms and venues, ordering catering, arranging room set up and creating event documents and event materials
  • Collating feedback for reporting
  • Working with other team members on the day to ensure customer service is of an excellent quality
  • Working as part of a team, contributing to the smooth operation and organisation of a national driver welcome event roadshow

Requirements

  • A successful track record of delivering targets within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Track record of organising several sold out corporate events or roadshows
  • Be a confident communicator, and comfortable operating at all levels
  • Exemplary written communication skills
  • Photoshop skills
  • Organisational and time management skills – ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & presentation skills
  • Social media advertising skills
  • Highly capable of promoting and organising the event
  • Strong excel skills are a must
  • Part time office based – 3 days per week

  • £18,000 – £20,000 per annum – depending on experience
